Details	The Hygiene Forum 2019 focuses on the role of the human and ‘targeted hygiene’: hygiene practices applied at the most critical points and at critical times to break the chain of infection. Jon Otter, Clean Hospitals Research Director, will be presenting : “Clean Hospitals: cost and value of environmental hygiene in hospitals”. Introducing the substantial and increasing cost of HCAI and AMR. Establishing the effectiveness of environmental hygiene interventions (e.g. cleaning and disinfection) in reducing HCAI. Discussing various models for testing the cost-effectiveness of environmental hygiene in hospitals.
